Dukes Education is looking for a passionate, native Secondary Teacher of English to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year.

We are seeking a passionate educator with a strong background in English Language and Literature to join a high-achieving, collaborative, and forward-thinking department. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality lessons from 1º ESO to 2º Bachillerato, designing engaging and differentiated lessons for all learners, including those with English as an additional language.

Key responsibilities include using data to monitor academic progress, supporting language acquisition and literacy in ESL students, and participating in departmental planning and collaborative initiatives.

The candidate will be expected to promote reading, writing, and effective communication, contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities and events, and maintain clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues, always reflecting the values and standards of Dukes Education.

Engage International School is a private trilingual school with almost 60 years of experience for students from 0 to 18 years old, excellently located in the centre of Majadahonda, Madrid.

It is characterized by its academic excellence being the 5th school in the Community of Madrid with the best results in the PAU.

Experience and Competences:

Demonstrable experience in teaching

Experience teaching English Language and Literature.

Excellent working knowledge of the English National Curriculum and recent developments

An understanding of language acquisition or experience teaching pupils with ESL.

Experience with Cambridge preparation courses.

Personal Skills:

Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Requisitos

Teaching Degree (Grado de Estudios Ingleses o Filología Inglesa).

Máster del profesorado (ESO y Bachillerato)

C1 level of English (minimum).
